Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway device and a data managing method that can refer to time stamp information without any delay and rapidly decide processing delay of frame data and abnormality in the device. SOLUTION: This invention relates to an on-board gateway device which performs transfer control over frame data between a plurality of communication channels, and the gateway device comprises a time stamp unit 61 which adds the time-stamp information to received frame data, and a data discarding unit 300 which decides processing delay of the frame data or abnormality in the device by referring to the time-stamp information and deletes the time-stamp information added to the frame data when the frame data are transmitted.
