DATA TRANSFER APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer data at high speed by a data transfer apparatus using a PCI Express serial bus. SOLUTION: An image processing part 3 and an image memory access control part 11 are connected to each other through the PCI Express serial bus. In the case of transferring data from the image processing part 3, the data are transferred to the image memory access control part 11 by writing processing through the PCI Express serial bus similarly to the conventional method. In transferring data from the image memory access control part 11, the data to be transferred are previously prepared in a data buffer 26. When an interruption detection part 27 detects a writing timing interruption signal notified from the image processing part 3 or the data buffer 26 detects an exclusive synchronizing signal, the data are transferred from the data buffer 26 to the image processing part 3 by writing processing through the PCI Express serial bus.
