METHOD FOR QUANTIFYING ACTION OF ANIMAL, AND DEVICE FOR QUANTIFYING ACTION OF ANIMAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device suitable for quantitatively grasping a walking state of an animal including the direction and degree of imbalance by visually displaying three-dimensional acceleration data sampled for grasping the walking state in an easily recognizable way. SOLUTION: Among the three components of γ,θ,Φ of acceleration vector data in the polar coordinate system (γ,θ,Φ) during an action of the animal obtained by polar coordinate conversion, the γ-component is used to form a ranking (order) table. Data of the γ-component (acceleration vector) before and after a focused θ value which provides the γ-component at an upper place in the ranking are associated with angles, and the animal action is presented by a circle of which circumference is allotted with the angles and an γ-axis perpendicular to the circumference.
