INVERTER CONTROL DEVICE FOR DRIVING MOTOR, COMPRESSOR, REFRIGERATOR AND AIR CONDITIONER THEREWITH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter control device for driving a motor, capable of reducing switching loss during switching-over of a power switching device, reducing spike voltage generated during reverse recovery of a free wheel diode, thus attaining high efficiency. SOLUTION: This inverter control device for driving the motor has a boosting converter circuit which is connected to a power source for controlling a drive circuit of the power switching device, and a voltage comparison circuit which is connected to output of the boosting converter circuit. The output of the voltage comparison circuit is connected to the free wheel diode of the inverter circuit in the other phase, the switching device of the boosting converter circuit is switched off when the power switching device is switched off, and the pressure of the boosting converter circuit is raised to be operated by energy of a snubber circuit, thus applying the output of the voltage comparison circuit to the free wheel diode of the inverter circuit.
