Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tempo detector accurately detecting tempo without depending on frame length or the like. SOLUTION: An A/D conversion part 50 outputs an output signal from a signal processing part 10 by an analog-digital conversion, and a signal processing part 20 successively outputs time information corresponding to a beat position in response to the output signal from the A/D conversion part 50. A BPM value candidate extraction part 30 extracts and outputs a candidate of the BPM value based on the time information, and a BPM value decision part 40 detects the BPM value based on appearance frequency information about the appearance frequency of the outputted tempo value candidate group.
