VEHICLE DRIVING TRAINING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle driving training device enabling a trainee to objectively review the trainee's own vehicle driving. SOLUTION: The vehicle driving training device is equipped with an actual-vehicle-mounted section and an image display section. The actual-vehicle-mounted section comprises: a position measuring device which is mounted on an actual vehicle and measures the coordinate position on the earth; and a position recording means for recording the coordinate position measured by the position measuring device. The image display section comprises: a terrain database storing the data of the terrain whereon the actual vehicle travels; an image processing means for creating a computer graphic image reproducing the traveling state of the actual vehicle viewed from a visual point assuming the terrain database; and an image display device for displaying the image created by the image processing means. The traveling state of the actual vehicle viewed from an optional visual point can be displayed, and the trainee can objectively observe the vehicle driven by the trainee and review the operating state. Also, since every position of the vehicle's movement is recorded, any point during traveling can be reproduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
