SKIRT DEVICE FOR BELT CONVEYOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skirt device for a belt conveyor placed on the upper surface of the belt conveyor, capable of preventing conveying objects from being blown out or overflowed, especially on connection portions of the belt conveyor. SOLUTION: This skirt device for a belt conveyor includes: a side wall placed with a predetermined width so as to surround a conveying object along a conveying direction above the conveying surface; a skirt rubber mounted on the lower end side of the side wall for covering a gap between the side wall and the conveying surface; a retaining plate for retaining the skirt rubber on an inverted L-shaped cross section; and a plurality of brackets arranged above and below the retaining plate and the skirt rubber so as to sandwich the retaining plate and the skirt rubber and fixed to the side wall. The skirt rubber and the retaining plate are fixed by a bayonet pin charged with from above between the upper and lower brackets. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
