STRIP ARTICLE FLOATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost strip article floating device capable of conveying strip articles at low costs. SOLUTION: In the strip article floating device for conveying strip articles, floating the strip articles on the conveying surface, with a fluid discharged from a plurality of discharge holes provided in the conveying surface, a thick plate punching metal 4 and a thin plate punching metal 5 are provided to be tightly overlapped with each other, and round holes 4a of the thick plate punching metal 4 and round holes 5a of the thin plate punching metal 5 are overlapped with each other and form the discharge holes. With this structure, in the case wherein pitch and hole diameter of the round hole 5a of the thin plate punching metal 5 is sufficiently small in comparison with pitch and hole diameter of the round hole 4a of the thick plate punching metal 4, a rate of hole area of the discharge hole is a product of a rate of hole area of the thick plate punching metal 4 and a rate of hole area of the thin late punching metal 5.
