Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the precession of a rotary shaft of a coating device having a rotary atomization head. SOLUTION: A magnetism-holding means 21 comprises a movable-side circular permanent magnet 23 firmly fixed to the outer circumference of a rotary shaft 12 and a fixable-side circular permanent magnet 22 which is different in diameter from the movable-side permanent magnet 23 and is fixed to a body 10 at a position deviated in the axial-line direction to the movable-side permanent magnet 23. In this case, the precession of the rotary shaft 12 is surely prevented, since a plurality of magnetism-holding means 21 are arranged in plural places, which are away from each other in the direction of the axial line of the rotary shaft 12, while the magnetism-holding means 21 can generate precession to the rotary shaft 12 at its center as a fulcrum.
