Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaner suction tool which achieves an excellent performance of removing dust by making the first and second rotary brushes rotate efficiently. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner includes the first rotary brush 31 which is rotatively driven with a drive source (not illustrated) while having a first cleaning piece 31d along the length of its peripheral surface and the second rotary brush 32 which is disposed in parallel with the first rotary brush 31 to be rotatively driven with the first rotary brush 31 while having the second cleaning piece 32d along the longitudinal direction of its peripheral surface and the height of the second rotary brush is made adjustable. The contact resistance is made adjustable between the second cleaning piece 32d of the second rotary brush 32 and the surface to be cleaned to allow a reduction in the load on the second rotary brush 32 when the contact resistance grows relatively large, for example, in the case of a carpet. This also can reduce the load on the first rotary brush 31 for rotatively driving the second rotary brush 32 to make the first and second rotary brushes 31 and 32 efficiently rotate, thereby significantly improving the dust removal performance.
