Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric device 50 having a discharge protection function for discharging an electrostatic charge into air or a vacuum via a discharge projection due to the discharge reaction of static electricity. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric device 50 has: a crystal oscillating piece 20; an insulating package 51 that mounts the crystal oscillating piece and has first and second external terminals 82; first and second wiring patterns 81 that are formed on the surface of the insulating package and wire the crystal oscillating piece from the first and second external terminals; and the discharge projection 85 that is formed in the first wiring pattern and is formed to the second one.
