Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display driver which can flexibly correspond to display characteristics of a display panel while reducing an influence exerting the display state of a display panel. SOLUTION: The display driver comprises: a scanning driver 600 and a data driver 700 of driving the display panel 20; a control circuit 800; and a control register 400. The control register 400 receives a display characteristic parameter from a nonvolatile storage circuit 100 into which the display characteristic parameter corresponding to the display characteristics of the display panel 20 is written upon the initial setting and stores the display characteristic parameter. The control circuit 800 performs such a refresh operation as to read the display characteristic parameter from the nonvolatile storage circuit 100 and again write the display characteristic parameter to the control register 400 with a prescribed timing which is set in a former half period of non-display period of the display panel 20.
