Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that can easily add and alter wording to be displayed, a wording display method, a program, and a recording medium. SOLUTION: A utility UT acquires character string data specified with a keyword and language information reported from a resource manager RM from a wording database DB. Then the utility UT acquires font data (bit map data) of respective characteristics from a font file FF based upon character codes included in the acquired character string data and uses the font data to generate image data (wording resource) wherein specified wording is rendered in a specified display color to a specified display size. The utility UT stores the generated wording resource in a storage unit and outputs a pointer (address) indicating the area where the wording resource is stored to the resource manager RM.
