Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of parts fitting of a driving motor and to reduce the assembling man-hour in an air conditioner including a front panel. SOLUTION: A panel opening and closing driving motor 28 is fixed to a drip-proof cover 25 fitted to the front of an auxiliary pipe of a heat exchanger 7, and a motor case 46 covering the panel opening and closing driving motor 28 is formed integral with the drip-proof cover 25. According to this configuration, it is not necessary to provide an exclusive fitting member for the panel opening and closing driving motor 28 and a dedicated motor case, whereby the number of parts can be decreased. Further, the panel opening and closing driving motor 28 and the drip-proof cover 25 can be integrated with each other and assembled to a cleaning mechanism Y, so that the assembling man-hour can be reduced.
