Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to achieve a low sliding friction coefficient while preventing metal contact between sliding faces by forming a fluid lubricating film even when applying conventional technology for the sliding linear guide of a machine tool having the parallel and planar sliding faces on which low bearing pressure operates. SOLUTION: In the sliding linear guide, lubricating oil is supplied into a gap between the sliding faces 1, 2 of one set of opposed guide members 3, 4 for relative motion. In one sliding face 1, there are provided a first oil groove 5 for diffusing the lubricating oil between the sliding faces, a lubricating oil supply hole 6 connected to the first oil groove, a plurality of second oil grooves 7 into which the lubricating oil is supplied from the first oil groove to generate lubricating oil film pressure between the sliding faces during sliding, and oil grooves 8 for connecting the first oil groove to the second oil grooves.
