Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smart keyless apparatus for a vehicle in which a communication antenna of an immobilizer can be used for the purpose other than communication with a transponder. SOLUTION: The smart keyless apparatus for the vehicle is to lock/unlock a vehicle door when an identification code of an in-vehicle machine mounted on the vehicle corresponds to an identification code of a portable machine carried by a driver. The smart keyless apparatus includes an LF transmission antenna for the immobilizer for controlling engine starting by communicating with the transponder upon engine starting. At the timing (s1) of judgement for whether an immobilizer control unit and the portable machine exist in the vehicle or not, the LF transmission antenna for the immobilizer generates an LF signal for communication with the portable machine.
