Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel decorative coating material which can faithfully reflect the texture inherent in its constituent aggregate and can therefore present a natural feeling. SOLUTION: The water-based coating material essentially comprises (A) a synthetic resin emulsion containing emulsified particles in each of which an acrylic resin derived from an alkyl (meth)acrylate and a silicone resin derived from a cyclosiloxane compound are present in a weight ratio of 99:1-30:70 and (B) at least one aggregate selected from among a ground product of natural stone, a ground product of porcelain, and a colored aggregate.
