VEHICLE BODY COVER MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF SCOOTER-TYPE VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach and detach a vehicle body cover in a rear part of a vehicle body of a scooter-type vehicle easily and to prevent the vehicle body cover from being easily removed by mischief by preventing a mounting part of the vehicle body cover from being exposed to the outside. SOLUTION: A flange part 95 is provided in an opening fringe part of a storage box 10 on which a seat is openably and closably mounted, its upper end face is made flat, and a hole 96 is formed in a proper section. A flat part 93 formed by bending an upper fringe part of a left rear part cover 18 inward and substantially horizontally is put on the flange part 95, and a projecting part 94 is integrally engaged with the hole 96 downward from here in the vertical direction. After that, the seat is closed to cover the flat part 93 with a peripheral fringe part 100 of a seat undercover 16 forming a part of the seat and the seat is locked so that the left rear part cover 18 cannot be removed. When the seat is opened, the left rear part cover 18 can be easily removed by merely shifting it upward. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
