IMAGE RECORDING HEAD AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image recording head in which an exposure position in the main scanning direction can be corrected and an initialization time can be shortened when an apparatus is started, and to obtain an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: A heater 28 for heating an LED chip substrate 22 and a capacitor 72 are connected in parallel so that a current flows through the heater 28 and the capacitor 72. A heating value can be increased as compared with the case that only the heater 28 is employed, so that a temperature of the LED chip substrate 22 can be raised quickly. The positional shift of dots in a print head 12 can be corrected in a short period of time by raising the temperature of the LED chip substrate 22 quickly. Consequently, a time required for the print head 12 to reach a predetermined temperature, i.e. so-called an initialization time (initial time), can be shortened when a tandem color printer is started.
