Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight hammer drill devised to simplify a manufacturing process and a manufacturing method of the hammer drill simplified in the manufacturing process. SOLUTION: This hammer drill 1 is furnished with a motor 21 furnished with a driving shaft part 22, a casing 2 with the motor 21 built in it, a roughly cylindrical cylinder 44 provided in the casing 2 and to be driven to rotate by the driving shaft part 22 and a supporting member 31 connected to the casing 2 and supporting the cylinder 44. The supporting member 31 has a base part 32 connected to the casing 2 and a cylinder supporting part 33 extended in the front direction from the base part 32, a bearing part 34 to rotatably support the cylinder 44 is provided on the cylinder part supporting part 33 and the supporting member 31 is integrally molded including the bearing part 34.
