PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair securing rocking mechanism by a frame material for a back, suppressing forward inclination of a seat with simple structure. SOLUTION: The seat 1 is supported by a seat supporting frame body 27 of a round rod erected from a base 7. The seat supporting frame body 27 has an upper horizontal portion 27b, the seat 1 is coupled to the upper horizontal portion 27b so as to be able to forwardly incline. A forwardly overhanging portion 31 is fixedly secured to right and left upper horizontal portions 27b of the seat supporting frame body 27. A backrest is secured to the right and left frame materials 4 for the back fixedly secured to the base 7. The backrest rearwardly inclines against the resiliency of the frame materials 4 for the back. The seat 1 can rearwardly inclines around the right and left upper horizontal portions 27b of the seat supporting frame body 27. Further, the stability of the seat 1 is enhanced and the seat 1 is held so as not to be able to forwardly incline due to the presence of the overhanging portion 31. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
