Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound mixing processing apparatus and sound mixing processing method for preventing a great difference in sound level between N-channel reproduction output and two-channel reproduction output. SOLUTION: A mixing unit 63 mixes N-channel sound data and two-channel sound data on the basis of a prescribed mixing coefficient and outputs N-channel sound data obtained by mixing the sound data. A down-mix processing unit 67 down-mixes the N-channel sound data outputted from the mixing unit 63 to 2-channel sound data and outputs the down-mixed 2-channel sound data. A gain adjusting unit 69 adjusts the gain of the 2-channel sound data outputted from the down-mix processing unit 67 on the basis of gain adjustment information outputted from a first decoding unit 55 and outputs the gain-adjusted 2-channel sound data.
