Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve thermal efficiency to shorten a melting time by making effective use of the chemical reaction between combustion gas and a melted raw material in a melting furnace. SOLUTION: A combustion control method for the melting furnace in which a melted raw material containing an iron raw material and a component adjusting material is charged and burnt with fuel and oxygen for heat melting, comprises preparing a chemical reaction model for obtaining a relationship of chemical reaction between in-furnace combustion gas and the melting raw material beforehand, guessing the temperature of the melting raw material from the detection value of exhaust gas in actual melting, and determining at least one supply amount of fuel and oxygen so that reaction in the furnace is exothermal reaction based on the chemical reaction model.
