BROADBAND BUILT-IN ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadband built-in antenna in GHz frequency bands which can be accommodated in a small and thin casing of a radio device. SOLUTION: The broadband antenna assembly built in a radio device has a configuration in which a feeding antenna is disposed and formed on an RF substrate, and the substrate is disposed in a box of the radio device casing, and a parasitic element is disposed on the inner surface of a lid of the casing so that both the elements can be capacitively coupled with each other when the box is mated to the lid.
