SOLUTION: The transporter 40 is provided with a holding mechanism 31 as a reference side positioning mechanism when conveying a cartridge medium 60. The holding mechanism 41 is provided with a tapered surface 43 brought into contact with the two ridges 64 of the first side face 62 of the case 61 of the cartridge medium 60 in a conveying direction.
