AUTOMATIC TRANSACTION DEVICE, TRANSACTION METHOD, AND AUTOMATIC TRANSACTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction system with high security and in which authentication time by biometric information is minimized. SOLUTION: Biometric information of a user for registration is divided into two, the first-half side and the second-half side, the biometric information on the first-half side is preliminarily stored in a card and the biometric information on the second-half side is preliminarily stored in a host. In authentication, biometric information of the user is newly acquired by a biometric information read mechanism installed in an ATM to be divided into the first-half side and the second-half side. First, in the ATM, biometric authentication (first-half side) using the biometric information on the first-half side preliminarily stored in the card and the newly acquired biometric information on the first-half side is executed, and when an authentication result is successful, the newly acquired biometric information on the second-half side is transmitted to the host. Next, in the host, biometric authentication (second-half side) using the biometric information on the second-half side preliminarily stored in the host and the received biometric information on the second-half side is executed and when an authentication result is successful, a transaction desired by the user is permitted.
