INFORMATION PROCESSOR AND DISPLAY METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which is excellent in operability in a trackball and to provide a display method thereof. SOLUTION: The display method of the information processor has a controller 14 which displays a cursor on a display screen 70 of a display device 10, based on an operation signal by the trackball 50 to execute various kinds of processing. An operation button group 71 in which a plurality of operation buttons are arranged in a first direction, a mode selection button for selecting a first selection mode and a second selection mode and the cursor 13 are displayed on the display screen 70 of the display device 10. When the first mode is selected, values of coordinates in the first direction and coordinates in the second direction detected by the trackball 50 are conversion-processed to distance and the travel direction of the cursor 13 as they are to be displayed, and when the second mode is selected, the cursor 13 is not displayed, and the operation buttons of the operation button group 71 corresponding to values of the coordinates in the first direction is made into display of a selection state.
