ROTATIONAL ANGLE/ROTATIONAL TORQUE DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive rotational angle/rotational torque detector capable of securely performing detection in the rotational angle/rotational torque detector for use in detection of a rotational angle or rotational torque of a steering of a motor vehicle. SOLUTION: A control means 19 is connected to first and second rotational angle detectors 5, 6 and a rotational torque detection means 13, and compares these rotational angles with a rotational torque detection signal. Thus, other components such as an auxiliary detection body and so forth are dispensed with and the inexpensive detector is achieved with simple constitution. Further, incorrect data of the rotational angle and the rotational torque is prevented from being output to an electronic circuit of the vehicle, and the rotational angle/rotational torque detector securely detecting the rotational angle or the rotational torque is thereby provided.
