Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly manage the quantities of medicines in varying shapes and to reduce management burdens. SOLUTION: A portable terminal device 10 comprises a storage means which stores a merchandise master file having the shapes at the time of arrival, the quantity for each shape, and inventory management codes, which are correlated to merchandise codes of medicine, and an inventory management file having the quantity of inventory of medicine correlated to the merchandise codes of the medicine, and a control means which reads out the quantity for each shape corresponding to the merchandise code of the medicine from the merchandise master file, converts the quantity of arrival of the medicine into the quantity of inventory, and stores it in the inventory management file.
