Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel controller for vehicle for avoiding a collision with a vehicle running behind. SOLUTION: The controller includes a rear object detection means for detecting an object approaching from behind of one's own vehicle; a rear collision prediction means for predicting a collision between the rear object and the own vehicle; and a travelling control means for controlling an acceleration/deceleration speed of the own vehicle. When a collision from behind is predicted by the prediction means in response to a detection signal from the detection means, the control means controls to accelerate the own vehicle.
