LIQUID CURTAIN GENERATION DEVICE AND GENERATION METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid curtain generation device for surely preventing chips generated from a cutting machine from scattering by generating a curtain film of uniform liquid flow with a simple structure at low cost. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a supply port 14 of liquid 4, a slit 19 formed in a peripheral wall 18 along a longitudinal direction, a pipe body 11 discharging the liquid 4 flowing in from the supply port 14 through the slit 19, and a flow rate adjusting member 21 arranged in the longitudinal direction to section an inner space of the pipe body 11 in parallel to a pipe axis and having a through-hole 23 through which the liquid 4 can pass between the sectioned spaces. One of the spaces sectioned by the flow rate adjusting member 21 is formed in a supply space 31 in which the liquid 4 is supplied from the supply port 14, and the other sectioned space is formed in an adjustment space 32 in which a side of the supply port 14 of the pipe body 11 is closed, and the liquid 4 flowing in from the supply space 31 through the through-hole 23 is discharged from the slit 19 while adjusting a flow rate and fluid pressure.
