Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a PAPR while suppressing the signal distortion of a modulation signal in multicarrier transmission or single carrier transmission. SOLUTION: A pulse shaping filter part 120 expands signal band width by adding the copy of one frequency side of a frequency area signal to a redundant frequency band adjacent to the other frequency side. A peak suppressing signal generation part 150 generates a peak suppressing signal on the basis of redundant frequency information and subcarrier mapping information so that the power ratio of the redundant frequency band component of the peak suppressing signal to an effective DFT-Spread-OFDM signal band component becomes a prescribed value A (A is an optional number).
