Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device with an improved assembly and assembling safety. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal panel, a light source unit 520 disposed behind the liquid crystal panel, a socket unit 530 into which an end portion of the light source unit is inserted, and an accommodation casing 600 accommodating the light source unit and the socket unit. The socket unit includes clamps 531 having light source supporting parts 532 supporting light source electrodes of the light source unit, a socket body 534 coupled to the accommodation casing and including insertion holes 535 accommodating the clamps and exposing the light source supporting parts to the front side and coupling protrusions 536 provided on the surface facing the liquid crystal panel between the insertion holes and a socket locker 538 including an opening unit 539 providing an insertion position into which the coupling protrusion is inserted and a coupling position in which the socket locker is slid to the socket body in the insertion position to be coupled to the socket body.
