Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound for treating vascular obliterating pathological state, specially for treating restenosis. SOLUTION: A compound expressed by formula (I), and a composition containing a compound effective for moderating inflammatory-responses, occurring from such as AGE (advanced glycated end products) and glycated protein accumulation, and/or methods therefor are provided. A composition containing a compound effective for moderating smooth muscle cell proliferation, and diseases or sicknesses related to it, and/or methods therefor, are also provided. The invention provides a compound and a composition for inhibiting the smooth muscle cell proliferation, which may be mediated by pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-6, IL-1, TNF-α and MCP-1, or by inducing the expression of perlecan or heparin sulfate proteoglycans (HSPG).
