Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silica fine particles with enhanced activities on the surface. SOLUTION: The active fine silica particles are characteristically prepared by the preparation process comprising dry treating an alkoxy silane compound represented by formula of R1nSi(OR2)4-n(in the formula, R1is selected from either one of a 1-3C alkyl group, a 2-3C alkenyl group, a phenyl group, -CO-CH=CH2and -CO-C(CH3)=CH2; R2is a 1-3C alkyl group; and n is either one of 0, 1, and 2) to silica fine particles containing 10 ppm of Al by mass standard. By reacting and bonding the alkoxy silane compound on the surface of the silica fine particles, a silanol group can be introduced on the surface as a reaction point. The alkoxy silane compound is introduced and bonded to Al contained in the silica fine particles. When the active fine silica particles are used in a resin composition, enhanced bonding can be formed and a higher mechanical characteristic can be achieved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
