Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking assistance device having a seat member 1 on which a user seats like striding across it and a pair of right and left leg links 5, 5 supporting the seat member 1 from below, and to inhibit rolling the seat member 1 at the center of a support shaft 32 as a supporting point of swinging in the horizontal direction of the leg link 5 where each leg link 5 is swingably connected to the seat member 1 in the horizontal direction, and improve the stability of the horizontal direction of the seat member 1. SOLUTION: The stopper member 11 connected to the seat member 1 is inserted between joint members 31, 31 at the upper ends of right and left leg links 5, 5 supported by the support shaft 32. Further, a constrained mechanism may be mounted to constrain the seat member in a posture orthogonal to the bisectrix of the horizontal angle of the right and left leg links.
