APPLICATION SHARING SYSTEM, DEVICE, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application sharing system for sharing an application introduced to a certain device with the other devices and a device and program for achieving this. SOLUTION: In an application sharing system, a composite unit reads function information for specifying such functions as copy, print, scan or facsimile owned by another composite unit or address information for specifying the location on a network of the other composite unit from an IC chip carried by a user (S22), and decides whether or not the function specified by the function information is owned by itself (S23), and acquires an application setup by the other composite unit so as to be used by the function from the other composite unit through the network based on the address information (S26), and sets up the acquired application to itself (S27).
