Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating device of high general versatility capable of properly controlling refrigerating capacity according to required embodiments of use of various load-side devices. SOLUTION: This refrigerating device 1 is composed of a refrigerating cycle having a compressor 2, a condenser 3, an expansion valve 4 and an evaporator 5, and a controller for controlling rotational frequency of the compressor. The controller is provided with a first mode for controlling the rotational frequency on the basis of a refrigerant pressure at a suction side of the compressor, a second mode for controlling the rotational frequency on the basis of a temperature of cooling load, and a third mode for controlling the rotational frequency on the basis of a variable set rotational frequency, and one of the first to third modes is selected by a selecting means.
