Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process that substantially eliminates the problem of the reactor fouling that takes place when methylalumoxane is introduced in a fluidized-bed reactor during its operation and provide a catalyst comprising a metallocene of a transition metal, for ethylene polymerization. SOLUTION: A support containing methylalumoxane and a derivative thereof, which is formed by an initial impregnation technique, is provided. The most preferred support is silica. The initial impregnation provides a supported alumoxane, or methylalumoxane, and this substantially eliminates the problem of the reactor fouling when the methylalumoxane is introduced into the fluidized-bed reactor during its operation. The process comprises providing a methylalumoxane-activated metallocene compound in a particulate form as a catalyst in the gas phase operation of the fluidized-bed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
