BLOOD COMPONENT COLLECTING APPARATUS, DISPOSABLE UNIT, AND MAINFRAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use a disposable unit and collected blood when a blood component collecting is interrupted in the middle of the process by an error. SOLUTION: A blood component collecting apparatus 10 includes a blood collecting kit 14 including a flow passage through which blood flows and a mainframe 12 of the apparatus on which the blood collecting kit 14 is mounted for controlling the process of the blood component collection. An RFID 172 including a readable and writable storage part 174 is provided on the blood collecting kit 14, and a transmitting and receiving part 98 for reading and writing for the RFID 172 is provided on the mainframe 12 of the apparatus. The mainframe 12 is equipped with a detecting means for plural kinds of errors and halts the blood component collection when an error is detected. The transmitting and receiving part 98 writes donor information 200, setting information 202, and error information 204 in the RFID 172. The information written in the RFID 172 is read in a replaced mainframe 12, and the blood component collection is restarted from the situation when the error occurs. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
