Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnosis method with which a fungus causing onychomycosis can be accurately detected. SOLUTION: This method for diagnosing onychomycosis, comprising performing a first PCR and nested-PCR for a DNA extracted from a nail specimen, uses a fungus-common primer set originating from 28SrDNA of a fungus as the primer of the first PCR, and further using a primer set specific to 28SrDNA of a dermal fungus and a primer set specific to 28SrDNA of Scopulariosis, Aspergillus and Fusarium non-dermal fungi as the primer for the nested-PCR.
