DISK MAGAZINE AND DISK CHANGER SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk magazine and a disk changer system in which recording and reproducing operation can be executed instantly without performing mount work taking a long time when a magazine housing a plurality of disks is loaded in a recording and reproducing device such as a disk changer system. SOLUTION: As for the disk magazine housing a plurality of thin disks in the same magazine, a storage element in which management information (history information and intrinsic information about a plurality of disks) is recorded is mounted integrally with the magazine, and information including management information of the disk is stored in the storage element.
