Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry distillation apparatus designed to recover sludge from an oil in which a dry distillation gas is liquefied. SOLUTION: The dry distillation apparatus is equipped with a primary cooler 5 and a secondary cooler 6 for cooling the dry distillation gas taken out of the interior of a cartridge of a heating furnace 1 and a primary oil tank 25 for storing an oil and sludge taken out of the primary cooler 5 and the secondary cooler 6. The dry distillation apparatus is provided with a primary oil circuit 55 for circulating the stored oil in the primary oil tank 25 and a sludge separator 51 for separating the sludge from the oil passing through the primary oil circuit 55.
