WEB REPLACEMENT PREPARATION DEVICE AND WEB REPLACEMENT PREPARATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a web replacement preparation device, capable of performing replacement of web without reduction in operating speed of a sheet processing device such as a corrugator. SOLUTION: The device comprises two sets of first and second mill roll stands 10a and 10b supported to be symmetrically movable along rotating shafts 16, respectively, and two sets of paired first and second arms 17a and 17b for holding and rotatably supporting waiting webs stopped on carrying surfaces of web carrying-in devices 11a and 11b from both axial ends thereof by movement in the mutually narrowing direction, the two sets being provided with a phase being circumferentially shifted 180°, so that a web used, a web used next and a web used after the next can be supported by four sets of paired arms 17a and 17b.
