Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed sheets to a resist roller one by one by separating them at appropriate intervals regardless of presence of double feed of the sheets even in the case of an image formation device having a constant sheet-carrying speed. SOLUTION: This image formation device is provided with a sheet feeding cassette, a sheet feeding roller, a controller, and a double feed detection sensor arranged on the downstream side in the carrying direction relative to the sheet feeding roller, and detecting a sheet fed together with another sheet. The controller delays the sheet feed timing by a certain time to appropriately increase the distance from the prior sheet when the double feed detection sensor detects that the sheet is fed with the other sheet in feeding the sheet from the sheet feeding cassette.
