FOAMED RESIN EXTRUSION-MOLDED OBJECT AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed resin extrusion-molded object manufactured well and efficiently without causing molding failure even a molded object using a conventional soft thermoplastic resin, a molded object of high foaming magnification, a molded object having a complicated cross-sectional shape, etc., and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The foamed resin extrusion-molded object is such that at least a part of the surface thereof is covered with a cover sheet so that the covering area is at least 30% of the whole surface area of the foamed resin extrusion-molded object. This foamed resin extrusion-molded object is manufactured by a method wherein a thermoplastic resin, plasticized on heating to which a foaming agent and additives are added, is extruded from an extrusion die and the extrudate is covered with the cover sheet so as to cover 30% or above of the whole surface area of the extrudate before passed through a cooled sizing die to be cooled and solidified.
