Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for designing a band-pass filter in which transmission characteristics can be improved in a required signal band at a low cost while sustaining required out-band attenuation characteristics without increasing the overall dimensions, and to provide the band-pass filter. SOLUTION: In the band-pass filter 1 comprising a plurality of resonators 3, distribution of the no-load Q value of each resonator 3 is set depending on the relative electric field strength thereof. More specifically, in a six stage elliptic function filter, amplitude deviation in the band is minimized when the no-load Q value of a first resonator 31and a sixth resonator 36is set at 3,000, and the no-load Q value of a third resonator 33and a fourth resonator 34is set at 7,000.
