Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a large amount of electric energy to be stored in a superconductive coil without using a power supply with a large capacity. SOLUTION: An electric energy storage equipment is equipped with a primary coil 20 which is formed of a superconductive coil connected to a power supply through a power supply connection switch and fixed in a vessel kept at a superconducting temperature, a secondary coil 30 which is disposed confronting the primary coil 20 in a state where it is capable of separating from or approaching the primary coil 20 freely and whose ends are short-circuited, a movement holding means for the secondary coil 30 which separates from the primary coil 20 by the repellence of its magnetic flux to the primary coil 20, and a current switch which enables a current to flow through both the coils 20 and 30 to generate magnetic fluxes that repel each other while the primary coil 20 serves as a closed circuit in a state where it is shut off from the power supply. Energy generated between the primary coil 20 and secondary coil 30 in the direction of separation or approximation is converted into electric energy, and the electric energy is stored as a current in the primary coil 20.
