Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detachable mounting device for a pedal shaft eliminating a risk that a pedal comes off due to an accidental force. SOLUTION: The pedal mounting device is constituted by combining a receiving tool attached to a pedal shaft attaching hole of a pedal crank, and a pedal shaft having a locking recessed portion wherein a locking element is locked to an outer periphery. The receiving tool is composed of a screw collar in which the pedal shaft is inserted, the locking element attached to a through-hole formed at the screw collar, and a stopper collar slidably attached to the outside of the screw collar, and locking and releasing the locking element to and from the pedal shaft. A spring is arranged between the screw collar and the stopper collar, and a protrusion formed on the screw collar and a groove formed on the stopper collar are positioned to fit with each other. The mounting device for the bicycle pedal is constituted so as to release locking between the locking element and the locking recessed portion by sliding the stopper collar.
