Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand FOV (Field Of View) of an inverse-geometry constitution computed tomography (IGCT) without sacrificing the image quality, and provide a uniform cone angle, a uniform flux distribution in the whole region of interest to be scanned and uniform image noise. SOLUTION: IGCT sinogram is processed by at first rearranging it in "z" and secondly rearranging it in "xy" and is feathered when being rearranged in "xy". An equivalent of multi-axial third-generation sinogram is thus generated and the equivalent can be further processed using the parallel derivative and Hilbert transform.
